I don't remember which thread I was reading about a month ago, but in the thread there was an ongoing "discussion" about screen size. In this discussion some people were describing a left to right swipe gesture they were using to go back as opposed to using the back button.

I can't find this gesture. Were they wrong or did I misunderstand?

Open an e-mail, swipe to the right to go back to your inbox.
Play a song, swipe to the right to go back to songs/albums/etc

Also works in notes and safari and other apps as well.

In iOS 7, you can use the swipe gesture that you're talking about in mostly all of the stock apps. You can also swipe right to left to go "forward". This feature is also baked into some (not all) 3rd party apps such as Twitter. I personally love this feature & use it all the time.

Swipe from the left edge of your device to the right to go back.

Okay guys thanks. I guess the apps I'm using don't have it coded in. Or maybe some of them need to be updated for iOS 7.
