I recently combined all of my separate hard drives into one 500gb drive. After compiling all my photos in one place, I imported them into iPhoto and the erased the original. Unfortunately, I erased the iPhoto library too!! The last four years of my life....GONE!

Luckily, I have a computer specialist for a father and was able to recover 2 1/2 years worth. But here's my problem. iPhoto still has thumbnails of the missing 2 years. I can see them in the program, I just can't export the pic because the photo it's linked to is gone.

Does anyone out there know where iPhoto keeps these thumbnails it creates? I have searched for hours and hours and can't find anything. I know the thumbnails may not be very big but if I can get even a 2x3" photo printed from them, I will be happy. My daughter was born in 2004 and right now, I have nothing until she was almost 2! PLEASE HELP!!:(
