The lines at 3 Apple stores near me are gone after only three days this year. I went to a local Apple store today and you’d think it was just a normal day in an Apple store. An employee at one store told me they have inventory of most items.

My local Apple Store was out of all the iPhone 11 Pro Max except for the 512GB Silver.

The World Trade Center store in NYC still had lines this morning and this afternoon when I walked by

My  store today had about 30 people in line and I showed up early today. I arrived at 9:30 got my phone at 11:00 and when I finally left at 11:30 there was a still a line outside.

I’d go but there are no 11 pros in stock. What’s the point of getting in line if they are out of stock??

The people in line already have a product reservation or they pre-ordered online for instore pick-up and the line is for phones, watches and maybe the new iPad. If you don't have one reserved or already waiting for you there is no reason to be in line.

I would hate to reserve something online only to make a line when I get there. If I make a reservation I would ideally like to walk in grab my order and walk out.
