I've suddenly found myself posting a lot more over the last few days...mainly because I've been confined to my room (or library) with a massive essay to write...but there are a lot of users who post all the time, all the time! I'm just curious what you do that gives you that freedom? Are you at work slipping the odd post in? Working from home? On your lunch break and go on an hour long posting frenzy? I'm just curious :)

I'll add a poll...

I check in throughout the day at work for a few minutes at a time.
@ work right now (on a pc)
At home it's on all the time. I read in between Eliminate Pro games. :)

I think in total, I probably spend about 6-8 hours per week on MR. It's fun and informative. Enlightening, even.

As for posting, I'd say it's about even - home and work.

I post from the Uni, the road, my house, and anywhere AT&T doesn't suck too hard. I'm loving the semi-full Internet on my iPhone. Just wish it was complete.

75% of my time is at home. The other 15%: in the Math/Physics room (during class when nothing gets done), and 10% in English (when I have pointless work to do;)).

I post while commuting to and from work.
I post a bit while I'm at work.

Sometimes I post at home, but that's while I'm watching TV, which I rarely do.
I assume you do not drive yourself to work? Do you ride the train and use Clear or something like that?

What's your screen name..... maybe I've killed you before.:D I play that game 6-8 times a day during my various breaks. I'm LALeaf.

I've been working from home (well, studying), so I check every once in a while during study breaks or while I'm having lunch. Plus, I have an iPhone, so if I'm bored while I'm out (see: waiting for wife outside dressing room @ store, waiting for wife while she's in the bathroom), I check in.

In the evening I chill out with my MBP on the arm of my couch and post while I'm watching TV (or not watching whatever my wife is watching).

I post the most when I'm bored in a hotel room somewhere, but I post from home too.

At a buck a minute, I don't post from work very much. :)

Ha Ha! I'm sure you have, cause I sorta suck. ;)
My screen name is "robertmanz.". I'll look for you on there. We'll shoot one another. (where else can you say that with a smile) :D

1. Airports - Zurich, Geneva, Paris CDG, London City and Heathrow, Budapest, NYC, Washington DC, Toronto and occasionally Barcelona. That is work. When I'm on holiday, I don't visit Macrumors at all.

2. On train between London, Paris and Brussels (EuroStar). Again, it's work. I love train journeys. When I'm on holiday, we tend to drive, unless it is a special journey, like going down to Sicily across Italy. Again, not from my free time.

3. Commuting: on the tube in London or in a cab. With my iPhone, by using my MR home screen icon or the joint app with AppleInsider (?).

4. If I'm working on a project on my computers, it is good to have something else in the background. It's good to read what kids think about the world sometimes.

5. During Insomnia (like now).
