Seems a lot of places are lowering their resale value. Amazon has lowered theirs and AT&T is also now only offering $150 for an iPhone 5 32GB.

For those of you selling off your old iPhone, where are you selling it at?

Craigslist. Instant cash, in person. Never had a bad experience but I use common sense and am not paranoid. Meet in the middle of the mall or something you'll be fine. Usually get the best price this way and don't have to wait.

Never heard of Swappa, Will have to check it out when I sell mine. I usually sell it on eBay for a good amount to people overseas.

From Swappa website...

"It's free to list and free to sell. Swappa does not charge seller fees."

So how do they make money? lol

I'm happy that they use Paypal though.

Just sold my 16gb i5 for 240 on craigslist. Being replaced with a 16gb i6 Friday, using my bros old 5C in the mean time:cool:

I was going to go with iCracked or Amazon, but now am looking into Swappa after this thread. What's the going rate on there for a 5S 32GB? I'd rather not create an account just to find that out.

iCracked. They quoted me $195 for my 5S. Also if you use code 9TO5MAC, you get an additional $20. So I'm getting $215 for my phone.

Edit: Corrected
Search on the first page and find your phone.

There should be a Recently Sold section at the bottom giving you an idea. Remember, Swappa will not accept phones with cracked screens.
