Should I buy it from the internet or should I walk to an apple store? Click to expand... Which is faster for you. The Apple Retail Store might be more helpful though, don't forget your receipt though. How do I know when my first year warranty will expire? Click to expand... You look on the receipt of the MBP, which will include the date of purchase and then add one year to it. So if you bought it on April 22nd, 2011, the one year warranty will expire on April 21st, 2012.

If you go to apple's support website, it'll tell you how much warranty is left https://selfsolve.apple.com/agreementWarrantyDynamic.do
