I had no idea that Nintendo currently sells two Bluetooth retro Nintendo controllers.

One is $50, the n64 version (although joystick doesn’t work) and also the classic SNES controller for $30. I am ready to buy either today but it says it’s a Nintendo online exclusive.

I need one of these remote controls for my iPhone and my iPad.

Help!!

Yeah, you need to be a Nintendo Switch Online (NSO) subscriber in order to purchase their retro controllers. You'd probably have to check eBay or luck out at a game store that sells used stuff.

Or find a friend that has a Switch to buy it for you. An NSO subscription is $20 for a year if they don't already have it. $50 for the SNES controller still ends up being cheaper than most of the ones found on eBay.
