I would like to get a G5 or Mac pro case to turn it into a MacBook Pro docking station. I would like to not gut a working machine, as i love these macs, but one with serious problems would be fine. Does anyone know of a corner of the web where i can find one at a decent price (under 150)?

Craigslist? eBay?

I found some G5s on local craigslist for that or less that were in working condition.

Sadly, my schools internet blocks those, but ive never seen one in Colorado for less than 200. I will try to check this weekend (on my internet). I'll also see if i can convince a few e waste recyclers near me to keep them if they come in.

Found one for 34 bucks!

I'll second that, gainsaver blows, I wouldnt be surprised if the send you a g4 case. I ordered a pretty simple part from them and they of course sent the wrong one, only to tell me to ship it back at my own cost, ended costing me $12 to get back my original $13.
