I want to replace the silver back on an iphone 2G.Where can I find a relatively cheap replacement part?

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

iPhone 2G? Seriously? Why not ditch that thing and update to the 3GS which will be inexpensive and stellar improvement over what you have?

Lol. I would sell my iPhone 5 for the Original iPhone.
I had it back in 2007 and upgrading to the iPhone 3G was the worst decision of my life :)
It's a great phone with the best design.

I still have my original, but the battery is shot. It just sits in a box with very very little wear and tear.

If the battery is dead, take it to Apple and ask them to do a battery replacement for £55.

Since they can't replace the battery, they'll replace the phone - so you'll get a brand new original iPhone in it's place (yes they still carry them!).

oh awesome. I did not think that they still carried them....I thought I remembered reading they stopped a few years ago.

Nope - it's 6 years since the last time they were sold. So they'll be available until early 2014.

Haha, I have an iPhone 4S and will upgrade to the ?5S? when it comes out? I just want an origonal iphone, I like the design, and thought it might be fun to try it for a week or so (got it for £35 on ebay.)
