Friend of mine got MBP with Lion (bought it last year), and he would like to make fresh installation for his new HDD. the problem is, he dont have a copy of Lion, he didnt know he can download it when he bought his mac... and now its looks like he need to buy(!!!) ML, something that he's not interested coz its not working good with all the music production programs n' plugs...

Is there any way he can get his Lion copy from Apple?? since you should get the OS with every mac you buy. always you got OSX cd with your mac, but since Lion you need to download it and to make your own cd\usb key with the installation...

If the computer came with Lion he should be able to use internet recovery to install the operating system by holding "Command-R" down as the computer starts here is the apple support page for more info
