Where did my App Store icon go?

The App Store icon has dissapeared. It was there when I brought home the 4s, but I wanted to surf the app store yesterday and I couldn't find it. Any ideas?
And yes, this is probably a really stupid question, but i am not an advanced iphone user as this is my first.

Make sure it isn't turned off in the Restrictions in the Settings app. Also, try searching for it with Spotlight.
