Where did my application folder go?

So If I go to the Applications Folder on the taskbar thing then yes my appications pop up.

If I go to the application folder in my finder yes there are my applications.

But if I go to my applications under my username on this computer their is nothing in that folder.

Those are two different folders.

You can move Applications to your user account if you want them to just be local to your account and no one else on the system.

In Finder's menu bar, choose View > Show Path Bar.

This will show you the difference.
