Nope it's still there. It is very subtle.

Hm, that's strange. I am using an iPod Touch 4th gen. Apple really cut out quite a bit for this device in iOS 6. Oh well

Definitely still there, especially in Music.app. It's most apparent when you rock the phone side-to-side (left-right).
