Where did you pre-order Snow Leopard?

I'm thinking either Amazon or Apple online, does it matter? Do they ship the same time. What did you guys do?
 
I don't plan on being required to upgrade any of my apps, and I need more RAM before I need any major OS upgrade.

So, at this time, no.
 
Apple store uk. It says 3 days for delivery from shipping, which is by 28th so I might not get it until later next week, but at least that'll give me time to hear from macrumors fans of any problems :)
 
I had ordered at Amazon with overnight prime shipping and canceled. Apple for the same price guarantees Friday delivery. Who knows when Amazon will ship it out. So I placed a new order with Apple.

Soon as I noticed the store back online, and it was available for pre-order, I slammed in my order. I'll work from home friday and eagerly wait for it :D
 
I don't plan pre-ordering it. I'm just gonna go into an apple store friday and if they're sold out I have a few best buys around that shouldn't sell out.
 
Just picked up my new MBP this morning, so I missed the announcement. I think I'll wait a couple of weeks to see how it is and then upgrade from Apple.com for $9.95 with my coupon.

I'm a little upset that I have to pay anything since I just bought a Mac 4 days before it comes out, but I don't feel like going through the hassle of returning it and I don't think I want SL pre-installed. I'm probably going to wait for 10.6.1.
 
I'm waiting for it to show up in Software Update, since that's where it belongs.
 
Yeah, no pre-ordering for me either. I'll let you enthusiastic mofos beta-test it for a few months before I decide whether or not to take the plunge. :)
 
I originally ordered from Amazon, but then I cancelled and ordered from the Apple Store this morning. I could go to one of the local Apple Stores but figuring it'll be busy, I'd rather just have it delivered to me at work :)

I be getting mine from the apple store too, just OT - SL is upgrade only? Are apple releasing a full version?

I believe the $29 upgrade allows you to still do a clean install, you just have to have a Leopard disc to do it to prove you qualify.
 
Didn't pre-order since Apple makes you sign and nobody will be home.

I'll head to the Apple store later on that Friday and pick it up instead.

Hmm maybe I'll order from Amazon then....
I had a problem with that once with signing a package.

You can print out a form to leave on your front door to tell the carrier to leave the package wherever you want them to. Not sure if Apple makes you sign for small packets anyhoo.

PS I pre-ordered online from Apple.
 
Thanks to the new Mini, I have it on order from Apple for $10.

I will wait to see if it's unreal on the previous generation Mini before I buy another copy.

And my poor G4 Mini will stay at 10.5 and be envious of his successors.
