Where do I look specifically?

My hard drive is full, where , beside the usual suspects ,iPhoto and iMovie, can i look for stuff to delete?

DaisyDisk is a fantastic tool for figuring out where all your space is going. The free trial version on their website has some limitations, but it will work just fine for figuring out your space issues.

Check for local Time Machine backups which may be eating your space.

I also use DaisyDisk to visualize how my disk space is being used.
