Oh, I agree completely, needless to say. But perhaps my irony was missed by the OP ...
However, as our absent mutual friend might have phrased it, 'sometimes a cigar is only a cigar', and then again, sometimes it is not.
Nevertheless, I am still of the opinion that the best place for an iPhone construct is the iPhone forum ..but others are, of course, quite free to disagree with me.
