Hey,
I know this may be a dumb question but it's one that I've been wondering. Where do the forums leave us original Unibody owners who actually will keep them and continue to use them ;) Do we continue to post in the Macbook forums or do we head over to the pro forums? Just a quick question.
Thanks guys!
:apple:

Post here ? You still have a macbook after all
I suppose, but I just thought that since Apple now claims that the MacBook is the plastic model that we (Unibody owners) should post in the Pro forum regardless if we have the label on our computers or not. I donno

Me and my 2ghz UMB are staying here thank you :)

I may frequent the MBP side too, give'em some know-how from time to time :p

At first I didn't think joining the forums was a good idea. But now I do.

Anyhow, viva la MacBooks! I'd get another white one anyway. I like the white Apple look.

You know, I almost expect them to launch some more MacBooks. I don't think they would just leave one model on the bottom. 14" MacBook!!! I would buy that!

Look at the word under your screen.

If it spells "MacBook", you post here regardless of plastic or aluminum or glass or paper or anything. :p

But that can only be maintained for a period of time. Soon, there will be a larger population of the current MacBook owners with entirely different hardware and structure than the original unibody MacBooks. They have more in common with the Pros, so it would be a more logical transition to post there. I almost regret buying a MacBook simply because of the population of MacBook:MacBook Pro owners on these forums; support is priceless.

Better yet, you don't have to post at all! ;)

To segregate the specs from one Macbook to another you have the basic terms so people know which macbook you have:

uMB: Unibody Macbook.
Whitebook: White Polycarbonate Macbook.
Blackbook: Black Polycarbonate Macbook.

And there are many more, but those are the most recent. You still have a "Macbook", so unless they make changes to the forum board, you post here.
