I find the help files on the Apple very unhelpful so perhaps you can help me with a bit of info. On the FaceTime program that is supposed to be a video call program for calling other apple products using the help to ask how to place a call it tells me to enter my Apple ID and sign in. Okay that's good but **where** do I sign in? There is nothing I can see on the FaceTime window where I could sign in.

Thanks in advance

Launch the FaceTime app then hit command-comma to open Preferences then enter your AppleID where I marked with the pink arrow.
