So we all know Apple went a little converflow crazy, its in the Finder, Safari, and iTunes... so which apps do you actually use it in?

Just wondering.

Personally the only place I use it in Safari for both bookmakrs and mostly history!

Only in iTunes. If I'm searching for something, I use Spotlight, or if I know where it is, I go to there, but I have all of my folders organized into subfolders, etc, so no need for CoverFlow in Finder.

The poll is missing one important selection - The I don't use Cover Flow option..

I find it less then useful everywhere. Its great eye candy especially when apple first introduced it, but its overall function is subpar with other ways for selecting items.

I felt the same way until I used it for the Safari History... you can see the exact site you want...

In Itunes if being I cant decide what to listen to. In Finder when quickly searching through photos. Don't use Safari but do use it in Firefox with a add-on going through the tabs. So that is almost everything. :)

I have it in iTunes as I still have the list view (I hardly ever listen to songs by album and have only got 3 albums on my computer if that), but I only really use it in Finder, where it's very handy and a nice way to browse my files IMO.

I always have it turned on in Finder and iTunes, and I've had it like that since I got my MacBook.

Thank You. I was missing that option! :D

And agreed, Completely true. :)

I despise Cover Flow personally; especially on the iPhone. Andrew can have it back. But hey, I live with it.

iTunes and Finder. I like how it renders text and stuff so I can browse through my portfolio or document folders and find what I'm looking for quickly.

The Apple put it in so may places is because it works so well. We're predominantly a visual society, and Cover Flow is a great way to very quickly skip through tons of stuff to find what you want.

I didn't think I'd use it that much in Safari when I first upgraded to v4, but I use it all the time.

Not so much in iTunes, and never in Finder.

I did when it first came out for finder and tunes but not anymore. Not useful now since icons can go over 128px

NEVER!

I find Cover Flow annoying at best. If you can't find your documents in list format you should learn better file management. I wish there was a way to disable it for the iPhone as well as going into landscape mode with SMS and Email.
