Where does iMovie store imported video?

I imported footage into iMovie. I can edit in there and everything but I'm unsure where it stores the RAW footage. Can anyone clue me in?

If it's iMovie HD, then i believe they put in the project file. Ctrl-clidk the project file and choose Show Contents. You should able to find it from there.
