Where does iMovie store its files?

Hi friends,

I'm trying to free up some space on my mac and I've encountered a little puzzle. I made a movie recently in iMovie using videos from iPhoto. I made the movie, exported into a quicktime, and now I just deleted the original iPhoto videos. And yet somehow, the movie still plays in iMovie!! There's a file for it in the iMovie Projects folder, but that's only a few megabytes. How is it still playing that video footage? If there are secret files, I'd like to hunt them down and delete them.
