Where does it come from? (ATT)

Hello,

I called ATT today and they said the phones are coming through Apple, and shipping from China on Wednesday (23rd). Is this true? How do you know?

EDIT: I ordered at a store for in store delivery

Ordered my phone from Apple.com and per tracking number with Fedex they are/were in China(started there), stopped in Hong Kong and now departing from Alaska. They are going to be arriving the 24th. I did read somewhere though that many ATT orders won't be coming until 25th. Not sure though!!
