Where does the screenshot go?

I was wondering if anybody knew where my screenshots get saved to in Lion? It use to save right to the desktop, but now I can't seem to find it?

Hmm strange, did you use an app on Snow Leopard before to save it to a difficult location? - Did you upgrade, or do a clean install?

No I did not have an app, and I did a upgrade?

Mine still appear on the desktop. Do you use Grab or the command + shift + F4 shortcut?

Does Lion still have a "Today" section in the Finder? If so, after you take a screenshot, head there. If the file got created it will be there, then open it's containing folder.

I'm not sure if it has a Today section but if u go to All My Files in finder then it shows you all the files and at the top is images so you can see the most recent images
