The weather app on the Apple Watch does not seem to be accurate. It will report no rain in sight for the whole day. then it starts to rain and the watch changes to some percentage. I do not know the source of the weather app or is the app can be changed.

The weather guy in front of the green screen on my local TV newscast doesn't seem to be particularly accurate either. He's blathering on about the European model versus the American model vs the GFS; meanwhile mother nature laughs and does whatever she wants.

At least the Apple's weather (usually) gets the current conditions right!

The weather app seems very buggy on Watch. For days sometimes my watch will show -- degrees as the current temp (I have a weather complication so I can always see temp/current conditions), meaning it's unable to fetch weather data.

Yes I’ve noticed this happening over the past few weeks myself somethings happened. It makes the weather app no longer reliable

Yes it gets the current condition spot on but then again so does looking out the window. It’s like Apple gives a forecast which is wrong then just changes it as the day goes on to current conditions

I find the app to be somewhat accurate. Some of the most powerful computers on earth are dedicated to forecast weather and they do not get it right all the time. They are getting better but not perfect.

Apple's weather in general has turned to crap for me lately. It seems like most of the time it lags behind reality by about 2 hours. For example, in the morning when it's warming up it might say 80 on my iPhone and watch, but every other source will say it's 85. Around noon the UV index will be 6 or 7 according to Apple, but everywhere else says it's 9. Right now where I sit south of Chicago, Apple tells me it is 83 degrees. Multiple other sources say it's 88. And of course there is the completely useless radar map that will be totally clear as a rainstorm moves in.
