You know the one with "Welcome" in lots of languages and a stirring soundtrack. It may very well be a sort of imprinting that us mac users must go through.

I've looked though core services in the system library which is where I thought it might be but unlike James Brown who told them where the funk was I have been unable to locate it. I've just spent two days tweaking an emac for a new convert and I want to give him the full mac experience. <tears welling up>

I don't know exactly where it's located, but I do know it's in the System Library somewhere. Also, keep in mind that the audio and video are in separate files. (I'd check for you right now, but I'm not at a Mac.)

i remember this being talked about a year or two back, but i wouldn't have the faintest idea what to search for.

I did get the movie, but i forgot where it was. i remember i had to show package contents of something to get it, though.

I always liked the similarity between the "stirring soundtrack" you are talking about and the Beavis and Butt-head theme.

geez, they really didn't want Joe Average to get there...

If the Russians get hold of this video there's no telling what dire consequences could result for the free world. So dangerous are these files that the movie and soundtrack must reside separately in case of nuclear attack, then there is a good chance the other will have a short time to escape. In time, say if only the sound track were to get away and somehow get out into the wild via an updated HD, it could learn digital video editing and reconstruct from it's ancient molecular memory, the original mpg, (probably just some type and an effects button anyway) and thereby live on to innoculate another unsuspecting user to the cult of mac. Why does 2007 feel like 1984.
