Just rented a movie on iMac abd can't seem to find the airplay icon to send it to my AppleTV. Am I missing something? I've done this before.

Which iMac are you using? Is your :apple:TV connected to the same network? Is there any reason that it is not in your :apple:TV rental menu under movies?

The airplay icon is usually in the upper right next to the clock.

Just turn on home sharing and access it from the Apple TV by selecting your iTunes library under "Computers."

you do not want to do it using mirroring, the quality will be very poor.
(the imac will decode the movie to play it on the screen, it will then be re-encoded in a much lower quality to be airplayed to the aTV. The aTV can handle the much higher quality file directly)

If your aTV isn't showing up in the airplay menu, try rebooting your router, they can get a bit odd with airplay at times.
