Where is Alert Sounds? How to make Messenger vibrate?

I'm trying to make the Messenger app vibrate only. I still want to be notified, but I don't want a ring, just a vibration. I don't want to turn my phone on vibrate mode because I want my phone to ring when a phone call comes through. When I'm looking at tutorials to do this, it requires me to go to Alert Sounds under the notification settings for Messenger. However that doesn't exist.
