I need the file com.apple.mail.plist to repair my Apple Mail application, but I can't find that particular file on my Macbook Pro??

I am running Leopard, could the file be called something else here, or placed in another destination???

it is supposed to be in Macintosh HD/Library/Preferences, but it is not there??

I can't find it using spotlight either...

Please Help, I really need to get Mail up and running again...

It may not be there until you launch Mail, mine is here

/Users/username/Library/Preferences/com.apple.mail.plist
