To access front row without the remote, press command (the apple key) and the esc key (at the same time).

ah cool thx, man like no icon links thats odd
It's not really meant to be used from the keyboard, hence the remote control.

This is exactly why Apple needs to implement a basic tour on first boot. Mac 101 and Switch 101 are nice and all but how do they expect a newbie to find them? Who goes straight to a support page after buying something?

Even windows has something like this. Surprisingly well done to boot...

Thats what I dont understand...

Why shouldn't it be just as easy? I mean why should it be more intended to be used by the remote and not by the keyboard as well.

I'd like to get MBP and be able to go portable and not work about my remote while leaving my remote at home.

I have to say... (don't ostracize me) but my gal got uses the Media Center and I really enjoy it. It loads super quick and is very responsive. No of course not as flashy, but feels more stable when using...
