I can't find it anywhere! I did a clean-install last night and i know I didnt select any option to NOT install it. All the other aspects of iLife are still on my computer but Garageband has seemingly disappeared.

What do I do?

Thank you mac forumites

Try a Spotlight search.

If it really isn't there, that is odd. You can either do a complete install again and see if it was a fluke or insert the disk under OS X and open the "Optional installs" or similar package and select GarageBand. If there isn't such a file (there is on my Tiger disks), download Pacifist and use that to install GarageBand from disks.

Sorry, I should have said I had already done spotlight with no avail. I am going to try to install it from one of my install disks without doing ANOTHER full install

What does pacifist do?

Thanks for your help

Perhaps it's in the Bundled Soft??

(i know it says Tiger... but my machine came with it cause it's older...:))

That's the one. It us called optional installs in Panther. Pacifist reads .pkg and .mpkg files and allows you to only install a part of the package. It also allows you to install Safari and iChat, etc, from disk. iLife shouldn't have that problem tho.
