Where is iBooks and FMF update?

You would think that the most skeuomorphic of apple apps (other than Game Center), Find my Friends, would be updated by now. I know Apple has been busy but I can't imagine that this would take that much effort. Especially since FMF received a iOS7 update for compatibility at launch.
 
Yeah it's weird that they'd take this long to update FMF unless they are rebuilding it which I guess could be true after they changed up Podcasts. I use it all the time so a redesign with more options would be welcomed.
