Where is my Battery Replacement??

My 12in PB qualified for the battery replacement and I submitted the online form in August...August 25th to be exact. I still haven't recieved anything or heard anything every since.

Is anyone else in the same boat as me:confused:

EDIT: Wow, I posted this thread yesterday, and I just got my replacement today! What are the odds?
 
My sister is awaiting a battery for her iBook as well. I don't know the specifics of when she submitted it, but my guess would be right around the same time your submitted yours...maybe a couple days earlier.
 
I'm also waiting for a 12" PowerBook battery - submitted my form on 28th August. Was going to call up to chase it today but forgot. D'oh.


(btw there are already a couple of other threads on this topic)
 
My two coworkers and I got our 15" powerbook batteries all with a few days of eachother last week.
 
I guess it must just be the 12inchers with the troubles. If anyone feels like calling apple feel free to let us know what they say:)

I will call sometime soon.

I just spent most of the afternoon on the phone with Apple, and they said that they had my request as August 30th, even though I have an email from them claiming receipt on August 25th. They then went on to say that they have my battery in stock, and they'll ship it any day now…

I submittted on August 27th for my PB 12 and I got mine TODAY.... I hope sure anyone who tried in late august will be getting their's shortly.
 
Oh wow....what perfect timing :D

The day I post this thread is the day people are getting them...how coincidental is that.

Hopefully mine will be here very soon, I have only one small dent on my PB which I got the other day....and it is on the battery. It is just bugging me...can't wait to calibrate my new one.:D

Why do 12inchers get the shaft?

I got my 12" PB battery a few weeks ago (UK).
 
Mine has arrived too :)

...at my old work address :mad:



So I should actually receive it next week then :rolleyes:
 
Update... it just arrived here!

My old workplace had it couriered to me :cool:

So you must not have been fired!!:D

OR if you were fired, then I would beware of the "new" battery they were so nice to send your way which may not be so new and scheduled to explode in your lap!!:eek:

Great to hear you got yours. I guess I was lucky as I got mine after only 3 weeks I think.
 
Thanks for reminding me. After the first few days of trying, I forgot all about it. My 12" PB's battery is getting a bit old and a free replacement would be awesome.
 
This is the second replacement I've had for my PowerBook 15. In Australia we had to take the info into an Apple Centre and then Apple delivers it to them and then we go to pick it up from them. Kind of annoying.

They didn't expect the battery until november but I got it yesterday after about two weeks so I was pretty happy! The battery I had was going dead anyway!
