Just backed up my iPad to my laptop via iTunes, and as we are all suffering from this stupid iTunes produced by apple's idiots, the backup is just a mess in my computer, I do not even know where the files are being stored, I need to take a copy of the backup to a flash drive or an external hard desk.

Can anybody advice me where is the backup stored, and what has been backed up ( everything? Application only? media?)

Thanks

On OS X you would go to iTunes preferences and select Devices and right click on the backup you want to know the location of and select "Show in Finder". Maybe iTunes on Windows has a similar option like show in Windows Explorer.
