Notice iTunes says my custom ringtone (On the Edge) is happily synced with my phone. I can even right click and choose "Play" and it will play: http://imgur.com/dzdCjI2

Why doesn't it appear in my phone's Settings > Sounds > Ringtones list?

I've synced, I have the latest iOS version (8.1.3), I want to hurl the device into traffic, etc. Anyone know what's going on? The item "On The Edge" appears nowhere in the ringtones list.

I think its a bug, this worked for me when I had that issue:

Uncheck Sync Tones in iTunes
Sync with iTunes
Check Sync Tones in iTunes
Sync with iTunes

Wow that worked perfectly! Thank you for the help. I'll buy you a beer next time you're in town.
