I've noticed in a lot of videos and screenshots there's a row of icons called NEARBY that displays on the search page (restaurants, coffee, shopping, gas). I don't have this row at all. Any idea why? I'm in Australia. Perhaps this doesn't work outside the US?

yeah they've removed it for people outside the US..ridiculous decision as it was working pretty well

Bummer. In case that's not true everywhere, I have noticed that it only appears when you swipe right, but not when you swipe down.

I am sure they will introduce it in other countries once they have the appropriate datasets.

Right is Proactive Siri, down is spotlight search. It will only show when you swipe right or open maps and use the search bar there.

I agree with this. Maybe its a license issue to use the data sets. They don't generate the data as far as I can tell, its pulled from other services like Yelp and made available to you. It has allowed me to remove the Yelp app from my devices.
