Where is Personal Hotspot?

i have purchased ipad 3rd gen and using 3G in it, as there is no 4G in India, but i am unable to find where is this personal hotspot, can someone please tell me where is that option to make it enable so that i can use my laptop by that?

Hey,

the carriers have to support personal hotspot, so if you don't see the option in settings, this means your carrier is not supporting it.
In Germany they're saying it will take them 1-2 months to enable the feature.

If you can do it you'll find it in the Network area on General Settings when you have your cell data running.

I know that for Personal Hotspot the cell data must be enabled, well i have figured out one thing, when i just normally enable the cell data it doesnt show Hotspot, but when i setup the Internet Tethering, it automatically shows me Hotspot feature, dont know what is this internet tethering

Internet tethering = another way to say personal hotspot.
