I've noticed recently that when I'm watching streams using qucktime (eg. the apple trailer site) it's eating up hd space every time I watch a video (these are HD streams so they can be big!) I've reset and emptied safari's cache but it still hasn't brought back the space. I've also tried to search for a quicktime cache but no luck. Where is it?!

Any help would be appreciated!

(To clear things up, it is not a real streamed movie if it is being saved to your disk; in this case it is called "progressive download".)

Try checking Home/Library/Caches/Quicktime.
