Just bought the touch and love it! :apple:

Mine came with the 1.1.3 App Pack. Many users said that a file with the app pack can be found in your Library but there is no such thing in the iTunes directory. Where would this be located? I would like to back this up incase my iPod crashes.

If your iTouch crashes, use transfer purchases to get it back on there. The apppack cannot be seen in your library.

What is transfer purchases by the way? I'm just curious because I just ordered a iPod Touch 16GB that is supposed to have the new apps in it already but just wanna make sure..

On a Mac I think it's located at: ~/Library/iTunes/MobileApplications

Yes, that is where the app pack is.

Transfer purchases is also called now "Check for purchases"..it makes sure the file is on your computer...if not it downloads it again I believe. I haven't used this I just have heard people use it successfully.
