i dont see it and i got a temp ban because i posted in the wrong forum. it would be nice to see the moderators being more helpful than abusing their powers and simply banning people who arent sure of the correct forum to post things in.

can someone please direct me?

The Mods are under serious stress due to the iPhone forum <which should be shutdown> anyways, they shoot first and ask questions later, it's nothing personal... Just remember when you have like 5 mods trying to patrol a 10m user forum not to mention the kids in the iPhone forum it gets wild ;)

Just Suck it up and learn from it.

10m users? Is that short for 10 million = 10.000.000? We have currently 421.109 registered members, roughly a third of them not having made any posts at all and the other third not having made more than ten posts. 3000 members made more than 30 posts, another 3000 members just made 10 to 30 posts.

10 million users? I don't think so...

Of 421,111 members:

143,676 (34%) = zero posts
102,190 (24%) = 1 post
91,474 (21%) = 2-5 posts
45,139 (10.7%) = 5 or more posts, with the last one during this year.

Meaning a third have no posts, 45% have only a maximum of five posts and 10% are missing.

34+24+21+10.7 = 89.7

I took the memberlist.php database as base. Anyway, this message board is a long way from getting 10,000,000 members and if it does, all hell will break looser.

I never expect anyone to say thanks.... and am frankly shocked whenever someone does!

I know.....

I've noticed this:

Amount of manners is directly related to membership length

but there are exceptions of course (especially in the PRSI forums).

Hmmmmm, so, when did that member join? :p

Nothing is missing. They weren't intended to add up to 100%. The last stat overlapped the 3rd stat and also included a time frame, that the others didn't.

Yeah, I think a lot of people come across a forum, register, never get round to posting and then forget about their account. It happens on quite a few forums I am active on.
