Where is the mail data (stored)?

I am hoping one of you can tell me the location and name of the folder in which all the mail in the mailbox is stored. My wife's iMac crapped out on her and I can barely get access to the hard drive using Disk Warrior. VERY slow. I need to know where to find her last year of email. She mistakenly erased from the server recently so it isn't there. Thanks

The default mailboxes are in
user/Library/Mail/Mailboxes

I've got mine configured with an IMAP gmail account, so most of mine is in a different folder within the Mail folder
user/Library/Mail/IMAP-*****@gmail.com@imap.gmail.com where ***** is my gmail name
