Where is the serial # for Apple Wireless Keyboard (MB167LL/A)?

Hi, I have an Apple Wireless Keyboard (MB167LL/A: Silver w/o 10-key pad) but cannot find its serial number! Apple's website says that a keyboard's serial number should be below it's battery compartment, but it's not there. I asked several people who have the same keyboard, but they don't see any numbers there, either. The box it came in has three sets of numbers, but they are not serial numbers either. I phoned Apple's Support Line and talked to two representatives for 40 minutes, but they are no help. They insist that the serial number should be underneath the battery compartment. This is too strange! Does anyone have this keyboard? If so, would you look at its back and check if a serial number is there? Thanks!
