Hello, Xcode.app use to have an icon in my Applications, ever since I upgraded to High Sierra 10.13.3 and Xcode 9.2 the icon is nowhere to be found. I try to use Macport, it keeps warning me:

Warning: xcodebuild exists but failed to execute
Warning: Xcode does not appear to be installed; most ports will likely fail to build.
But I know for sure Xcode is installed and working on my Mac. How to fix this? Thank you.

It sounds like it’s not installed anymore if you don’t see it in Applications and you’re getting these errors. Just redownload it from the App Store.
What leads you to think that Xcode is installed and working?
If you have it running you can right click/control click on the icon in the Dock and select “show in Finder” to reveal where Xcode is now located.
