i need opinions on this subject. do you think they will quietly release the white iphone4 out of no where one day this summer or do you think they will put an actual release date on it?

I dont get why some people speculate that they would release the white versions silently. Of course they will announce it. Im assuming most likely on Friday. Makes sense, coz they already said it will be released second half of July and that press conference in the most logical platform for them to do so.

My prediction is that there wont be any white iphone 4s until they fix the reception problem.

When 4.1 goes live there is going to be HELL, white ip4s will be the least of their worries.

Im just gonna enjoy the last days of full bars on my ip4 :D

The conference is on the 16th, the second half of this month. We may be lucky and be able to order them on Friday.

I hope.

White iphone should be the least concern for apple. If apple is calling this conference to talk about white iphone 4, then their stock prices will fall very sharply. Apple needs to respond soon. Whether they want to fix this issue or not, they need to stop being silent.

att store one sales kid is speculating no white until the problem of the black is sorted out. according to this kid the i4 is an embarassment  and they have had so many complaints in the past 2 weeks its seriously not even funny.

my gut is saying there will be no white

Ugh, like I said, I hope not.

If they're going to delay it until August... September, whenever... I hope they say something.

exactly. they'll release it when they can, but please, give us a heads up so we can decide whether to wait or just spring for the black. i'm thinking they will mention it friday, though it certainly won't be the focus of the conference.
