I traded my iphone 4 and the buyer wants the blobs..

Where on my HD are they located so I can send them?

Thanks!
al9o.

I'd rather just get this over with and find them on my drive. he's an older guy and seams easily confused by some of this stuff, but so am I, obviously.

Where on my drive are they?

I used TU to update but preserve Baseband, so they're somewhere. And when i opened TU right now, it remembered my device, and it's not even here(he has it, obviously).

Thanks.

This thread reminds me of giving a 70 year old lady her first computer lesson.

Thanks?

Seriously.

Here's the story.

Traded my unlockable 16gb running 4.1(used TU to preserve BB) for his 32GB not unlockable, over craigslist, he posted the ad. Now he's trying to set up to meet me again tomorrow to see about the shsh's so he can downgrade to 4.0.2 so he can redo the whole process at some shoddy iphone repair place here in Phoenix..

Any advice?

Al9o.

Dude. We can't make it easier than TinyUmbrella.

Tell him to download TU.

Plug in the phone.

Click "Save SHSH".

 How is that hard?

I might remind you in a sale, once the item changes hands and is accepted and the seller has been paid, the deal is complete.
Unless you choose to offer customer service after the sale.

As stated, verifying the hashes saved in Cydia (or even downloading them to a hard drive) is foolishly simple using TU.
Sadly, it doesn't seem like either of you would know what to do with them if you actually required them for some future reason. :(

Thus my analogy.

Good Luck to both of you.

Should I just stop talking to the guy then? Ignore him?

Thank you all, by the way.
