When I replaced my stock hard drive I mistakenly strip a screw. It's not bad and I can still remove it easily but [since I'm a perfectionist] I'd like new screws in the place of it.

wow, if you torqed your screw hard enough to strip it, did you bend the aluminum cover? I am not sure about these but i do know the rev A macbook air you can over tighten the screw causing a dimple in the aluminum around the screw head.

anyway, I have heard that if you ask a genius real nice at the store, they will give you a screw or two...wait, that don't sound right.

I only "slightly" stripped the screw head and not the screw threads. The screws are still able to be removed but I may be going back to my stock hard drive since I'm getting numerous beach balls and thought it may be a good time to swap the stripped one out.

ifixit only offers the whole set, including all the screws for the inside of the machine. they want like $46 for it.
