Hey, I have my OS and apps on one HDD and my home folder located on another. Which of these should I allocate for my photoshop scratch volume? I'm assuming scratch partition should be set on the drive containing my home folder, not the drive containg OS and apps. But i'm not sure.

I'm curious to find out the answer. How do the drive speeds come into play? I have my OS and apps on a 10k drive and my files on a 7.2k drive.

The one with the home folder. The point of a scratch disk is so your big media files shuffling around don't get in the way of the OS trying to access it's startup disk, where all the system files are.
