Can anyone make a suggestion on where to buy a used MacBook Pro, I would really like to buy here in the Dallas area, but if I can't oh well. If this doesn't pull through I can alway go the MacBook route, and just run Final Cut Express for this year.

Well, if you have the money, go Apple refurb. If not refurb, check the Marketplace. If not the Marketplace, check your local Craigslist. If not Craigslist, go eBay. I've bought my last 3 MBP's on eBay and have had a great experience while saving a boatload of money each time. :D

I couldn't have said it better myself. If I was buying used, my first choice would be the refurb store, followed by Craigslist, rounded out by ebay.

I working all those angles right now, but not seeing to much, I guess its just a matter of time.

You might see better results after an update; people look to unload more at that point. Right now the market is dryer because school has recently started, and the update was a reasonable amount of time.

Also, prices on forums generally tend to bit a tad bit lower than on eBay.
