I have decided on which iMac to buy but now I am wondering where to purchase it. The Apple Store or John Lewis.

John Lewis give a free 2 year guarantee which is great but I have heard that these stores may be selling off the older imacs which might have monitor issues.

Is this the case.

Thanks

If you got access to a Apple store, always, always buy from there, you won't find customer service as good anywhere else

Not sure I agree with buying from an Apple store just because of the service. Service from John Lewis where I live has always been really good and the fact you get a 2 year guarantee against the 1 year from Apple is enough to sway some people to buy from there.

I bought a MacBook from John Lewis a while ago and had to have it repaired and JL provided a really good service.
