I just finished with an order from Amazon to meet my quota of shiny new kit for this month (assuming no refresh on Tuesday the 22nd), but all this hardware has been available for a very long time so there are no shortages.
Does anyone with more buying experience know if it is possible to order from Amazon.com (or other sales tax/rebate friendly online retailer) and receive the order within an unreasonable amount of time (2 - 3 days) after ordering it on the launch date?
I've also been considering moving up to a 17" Macbook Pro with high definition screen since I did watch 2 HD quality trailers last year proving I definitely need it..
Is it possible to buy said needed Macbook Pro at the (retail) Apple Store, Amazon, or other sales tax/rebate friendly online retailer given that the high definition screen is a BTO option?
