Where can I get hold of a Nintendo DS in the US of A? I'm after a black one and can't seem to find a place selling em?

Cheers everyone :apple: :) :apple:

Everywhere.

Target
Walmart
Best Buy
Circuit City
Toys R Us

Almost anyplace that sells electronics have them.

i agree. looking online, it appears that ds's are sold out everywhere, but you'll find that they're reasonably in stock in most, if not all, brick and mortar locations. i went to ebgames today, and they had a couple in stock.

None on the shelves in my neck of the woods (north of LA) though a local Toys R Us has a sign up saying that a shipment of Wii's and DSes would be available on Sunday 2/11, so you might want to try then.

FWIW I have seen pink DSes off and on since xmas, but they don't stay on the shelf long. And don't trust the online inventory checks offered by some stores. Target claims to be in stock at all local stores (but they're not) and CompUSA claimed to have all colors, but in fact had none.

I always see DS Lites in Costcos. If you have a membership or know someone who does, that's always a possibility..

FWIW. I stopped by Toys R Us today for something altogether else and there was still a line ~20 deep outside 90 minutes after the store had opened.

They had plenty of Wiis and DSes, but were metering customers.

Didn't feel like waiting in line, but saw plenty of DSes in stock at Target later in the day. In and out.
